Lacombe Square Dance - Parkland Belles and Beaux

Lacombe Square Dance Club would like to welcome Dan Lemoine as our club caller!  We have had the pleasure of dancing to Dan’s calling and can expect upbeat music and a supportive learning environment.

Dan can call beginner square dances (SSD) to plus dances, as well as round dances.  He enjoys queuing and calling to a variety of music however he prefers to stick to country music.  Dan loves calling because it’s a great way to bring people and the community together while having a great time! 

Dan started calling when he was 21 and called for 9 years before taking a break to raise his children.
His club in Edmonton, the Country and Western Square Dance Club, started in his living room
when his girls wanted to learn how to square dance. The club was comprised of family and close
friends.   It has since outgrown his living room and now they dance out of the Leefield Community Hall in
on Thursdays.  

Dan was on the committee for the national Square Dance convention of 2024.  He has called clubs in Edmonton, Fort Vermillion, Red Deer, Penticton, and various other small communities in Alberta.
